Special guests directly from Brazil to the festival!
This year’s Festival Cinema Brasil will bring two very special guests directly from Brazil: Paulo Betti, actor and director of Cafundó and Francisco Ramalho Jr., director of Sing Maria and producer of Kiss of the Spider Woman (1985).
They will be at Space [:O] October 10th, from 8 pm.
Admission passes will be distributed on first-come-first-served basis 15 minutes before (free admission, limited quantity of seats).

| Betti graduated from the School of Dramatic Arts at the University of São Paulo (USP). He was a drama teacher at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp–SP) for seven years. An established actor in television, theater and film, he has received Molière awards twice, as well as an APCA and the Mambembe three times. He is the head of a production company called Prole de Adão and presides over Casa da Gávea (Gávea House), a Cultural Center based in Rio de Janeiro. |

Ramalho is a professor at the South American Higher Education School of Cinema and Television of Paraná (CINETVPR) and at the Getulio Vargas Foundation, where he teaches “Film & Television and International Business.” Since 1968, when he made his debut as a feature film director, he has written, directed and produced a number of films. He has also produced plays for the theater. |
