(CEOs: Junji Tanabe and Kendi Kawai) will hold its 3rd Festival Cinema
Brasil 2007 from September 5th (Wed.) until 9th (Sun.) at the Tokyo International
Forum (Hall D1).
Brazil is not only one of the world's resource-supplying countries and leading
country in the use of ethanol to help the global economy, but is
also receiving a lot of recognition in the movie industry.
The company, in order to keep introducing Brazilian movies to Japan, has held
the festival since 2005. Next year will be the 100th anniversary of the Japanese
immigration to Brazil. This year’s festival is once more bringing part of Brazil
to Japan with titles for the whole family, music clips and much more!

Tupiniquim Entertainment—event production
company and subsidiary company of Brastel Co., Ltd.—aiming to promote
cultural exchange between Brazil and Japan is introducing Brazilian
culture through music and cinema to the Japanese community.
Besides producing the Festival Cinema Brasil since 2005, the two producers, Edison Mineki and Marcos Ramos, also produced the tour performance of the Brazilian genius guitar player, Yamandu Costa, in 2005 and 2006. The company wants to concentrate its efforts to continuously promote Brazilian cultural and entertainment events throughout Asia.
